A Fresh Perspective on Real Environmental Gain
We’re excited to welcome Briony Stewart to the Land Energy team this summer as our Marketing and Strategy Intern who is embarking on a Land Energy B-Corp feasibility study. Now entering her final year studying Business with Marketing at the University of Edinburgh, Briony brings with her a sharp academic perspective, fresh ideas and a genuine passion for environmental sustainability.
.
Fueling Innovation Across Our Biomass Products
Briony’s internship is already making a difference. She is leading a Land Energy B Corp feasibility study to evaluate our alignment with the globally respected standard of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Her findings will help Land Energy identify strategic opportunities for improvement and assess the long-term value of B Corp certification for the entire company and its sustainable biomass products.
Supporting the Launch of Re-Genus Soil Enhancer
In addition to her work on B Corp, Briony is playing a key role in the retail launch of Re-Genus, Land Energy’s new all-natural fertiliser enriched with beneficial fungi. She is conducting in-depth research into sustainable packaging solutions and analysing the natural fertiliser market in the UK to inform brand positioning and future product development.
A Passion for Purpose-Driven Environmental Business
Briony’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond her internship. Her upcoming dissertation at the University of Edinburgh will explore sustainable and regenerative marketing, with a focus on how certification schemes like B Corp can help businesses contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
