Land Energy is delighted to be supporting the return of Girvan Tattie Fest, one of South Ayrshire’s most popular community events, taking place on Saturday 13th of June 2026.
Now in its fifth year, the festival has become a firm fixture in the local events calendar, celebrating the region’s rich agricultural heritage and its famous Ayrshire Epicure potatoes.
David Bone, Communications Officer at Land Energy, said:
“We are delighted to sponsor the Girvan Tattie Fest and help celebrate one of the region’s most famous exports, second only perhaps to Robert Burns himself: the Ayrshire Epicure potato.
“The Ayrshire Epicure is a symbol of changing historical patterns, innovation and sustainable industry, subjects that we see reflected in our own work. Events such as the Tattie Fest are a fantastic way of bringing communities together while showcasing the best of the area’s strong farming and culinary traditions.”
This year’s festival will run from 1pm to 5pm at Louisa Drive, Girvan, with two large marquees ensuring visitors can enjoy the event whatever the weather.
Organised by GoGirvan, the free family-friendly event promises a packed programme of entertainment and activities. Highlights include performances from the Girvan & District Pipe Band, the Circus in the Big Top, alpacas from Little Peru, a kite display, a silent disco and a variety of nature-based activities from Under Sky.
Visitors will also be able to browse a wide selection of local craft stalls and enjoy refreshments from a range of local food and drink providers, including The Tattie Stop, Drift Coffee and Girvan Gelateria.
The celebrations will extend beyond the main festival site with a fringe programme taking place across the town. The Wave will host an Open Doors event featuring children’s activities, tattie-themed crafts and home baking, while the Girvan Community Garden will offer an evening programme of live music, food and refreshments.
Land Energy is pleased to play a small part in supporting an event that celebrates everything that makes the local area special and wishes everyone involved another successful year.
