Land Energy Joins Ambitious Ayrshire at the Scotland Office
Land Energy was delighted to attend the Ambitious Ayrshire Showcase at Dover House, the official London home of the Scotland Office, on the 19th of November 2025. The event brought together business leaders, MPs, and other key partners to champion Ayrshire as a dynamic region to invest, study, live, and work.
Hosted by Jonathan Darby, Head of Strategic Engagement at the Scotland Office, the evening created a valuable platform for collaboration and discussion. The delegation included pan-Ayrshire MPs Alan Gemmell, Elaine Stewart, Irene Campbell, and Lillian Jones, along with Claire Baird, CEO of the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce.
The event highlighted the progress of the Ambitious Ayrshire consultation, which has helped bring together industry and policymakers to identify fresh opportunities for growth, innovation, and long-term investment in the region.
This builds on the success of South Ayrshire Council’s AMBITION Programme, which has already supported more than 600 local businesses to start or scale up their operations, including the installation of a new COBOT at our factory.
As a proud, predominantly Ayrshire-based employer with almost 100 staff at our Girvan facility, Land Energy is committed to contributing to a strong, sustainable, forward-looking local economy through our wood pellets, briquettes, horse bedding and cat litter.
The Dover House showcase reflected the entire region’s shared determination to build a greener, more resilient future driven by collaboration, innovation and confidence in what Ayrshire can achieve with greater investment.
